This course covers the hazards relating to occupational noise exposure. We will cover effective methods in developing an effective hearing protection program. This course teaches how to identify environments which could be harmful to one’s hearing and employ countermeasures to protect against it.
This short, yet effective course is delivered in video format with with the occasional quiz. Screen shots and photos of job sites where occupational noise control plans are implemented are delivered to students in an interactive manner. Students interact with photos of job site occupational noise exposure environments to determine if whether or not engineering controls or protective equipment is required.
